2017 Infiniti Q30 Exterior
Nobody believed that the carmaker could turn the Q30 Concept revealed in 2013 into reality, but here comes the production version of the Q30 which is nearly as good as the concept. A lot of original concept’s design cues have been carried over. The vehicle has the same shape as the concept, which together with some trademark elements creates an impressive appearance. Even though the carmaker uses completely new design language, the Q30 boasts some of the Infiniti’s signature elements such as the double-arch grille with 3D-effect mesh, and the bonnet with double-wave effect. Looks are always subjective, but the 2017 Infiniti Q30 really is a unique piece of design. If you want our opinion, we like it.
Interior of new 2017 Infiniti Q30
The cabin of the production version breaks a little bit more from the concept, but don’t worry-it will keep its great asymmetric layout. The interior is definitely premium with all these high quality materials such as leather, wood, and aluminum. Three interior color schemes are in the game. If you prefer black interior, you should opt for City Black with black upholstery and unique purple stitching. Café Teak is a combination of black and brown upholstery. If none of the two suits your taste, Gallery White with white upholstery and red accents will win you over. The cabin of the Q30 will be extremely comfortable and quiet place. With NVH, the carmaker managed to reduce noise inside of the cabin considerably. For entertainment purposes, the carmaker equipped the cabin with the latest version of its In-Touch system with a touchscreen display.
Q30 Infiniti Engine
The 2017 Infiniti Q30 is a new model but it seems that it will be propelled by the tried-and-trusted engines. One engine option will be offered in the U.S. market in the form of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas with power output of 208 horses and 258 pound-feet of torque. Across the pond, customers will be offered several engines. The base engine is a 1.6-liter four-cylinder with two different power outputs, 120 and 154 horses. A 1.5-liter four-banger is also in the books. It is capable of producing 107 horses. The last engine option is a 168-horsepower 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine. The carmaker equipped the Q30 with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission to route power.
