Cars Reviews » 2016 » 2016 Hyundai Sonata Specs, MPG
The Hyundai Sonata has quite a long history. The first interaction of the model started back in 1985. It was designed and marketed by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai and it was intended to be a Hyundai Stellar replacement model, with a fresh name and design. The Hyundai Stellar was quickly withdrawn from the market due to very poor sales and not quite satisfied customers. The first generation of the Sonata was in fact considered to be an upgraded version of Stellar, due to the fact that it had pretty similar design, with an upgrade of the powertrain. The second generation Sonata was considered a brand new model and it was manufactured from 1988 until 1993. Five more generations of the popular model have been made with the 7th being the latest model of them all. It was introduced at the 2014 New York International Auto Show and, given the fact sheet, it has much to offer. Now we have a look at brand new 2016 Hyundai Sonata.
