If you are looking for a compact hatchback with massive cargo area, fuel efficient engine, solid interior, and all that at an affordable price, we might’ve found a solution- the 2017 Honda Fit. In its third generation, the Honda Fit will prove that a compact hatchback can offer much more than simple transportation. The Honda Fit is a perfect product for the youngsters who are in search for an affordable and reliable car with all the modern gizmos, but also for the empty-nesters who are not fond of sizeable cars but still do not want to compromise cargo room and rear seat. The carmaker revamped the Fit last year, so the 2017 model year will bring no major changes.

If you though that compact cars couldn’t get smaller, here comes the 2017 Honda Fit. In 2015, the carmaker made it 1.6 inches shorter than its predecessor but its wheelbase was 1.2 inches longer than that of the previous model. The 2017 model year won’t bring any changes in terms of dimensions. The Fit will still be adorable hatchback with sharp lines, angular and slimmer headlamps, and pretty aggressive wheel arches. It will keep its high-roof hatchback styling as well. It is available in three different trim levels: LX, EX, and EX-L all of them boasting excellent equipment and features. Higher EX and the EX-L trim levels ride on aluminum-alloy wheels, and have a lot of chrome on their grille and liftgate.

The carmaker has changed a lot inside of the cabin and there is no doubt that the Fit will now move away from the base pedestrian feel its niche suggests and requires. Well, we can’t say that the cabin is premium but will the soft-touch materials, interesting and yet clever design, and silver accent trim, things inside of the cabin look pretty amazing for a vehicle of this kind. Besides having nicely bolstered, comfortable, supportive bucket seats, the cabin also boasts a great deal of storage compartments all the way around. Most of the controls are easy to use and within reach. We’ve already mentioned that the cabin of the Fit is excellently equipped. We are glad that the carmaker didn’t skimp on equipment. If you opt for the least expensive LX trim level, you will get: audio system with touch-sensitive interface, rearview camera, automatic headlamps, stability control, electric traction, power windows, USB port, and much more.
